and , two University of Colorado students, heard about Lady Gaga's call for Congress to repeal the discriminatory and counterproductive policy known as "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) and decided they wanted to do something about it. So they filmed themselves calling their senator to show people how easy it is to take action. Then, for good measure, they went and asked their neighbors to call too.

Taking action to support LGBT rights, the way Lauren and Ellie did, is what is all about. And talking to other people about LGBT issues is what our is all about. We couldn't be more proud of them. And best of all, , saying he'd be voting for DADT repeal.

Making a difference towards LGBT equality — or any issue — can be just that easy. Just a few minutes (and a few friends) can make a big difference. We hope you'll be as inspired by Lauren and Ellie as we are and today to !
