Bio

Sara Robinson is a fellow at the ACLU National Security Project. She has degrees from Yale College, Columbia University, and New York University School of Law. Prior to joining the ACLU, Sara served as a law clerk to the Hon. Valerie Caproni, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York, and to the Hon. Michael Chagares, United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Sara also worked as a legal fellow with the NYU Global Justice Clinic, where she focused on accountability for the U.S. torture program. Before law school, Sara worked with refugee communities from the Middle East and the Horn of Africa at local offices of Amnesty International and Physicians for Human Rights.
