Bio

Patricia Yan is a Staff Attorney in the ACLU Voting Rights Project. She litigates voting rights cases throughout the country, including National Voter Registration Act compliance and redistricting litigation.

Before joining the ACLU, Patricia worked on voting rights as the Senior Policy Attorney at State Voices and as a Staff Attorney at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF). She also previously practiced as a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Patricia received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where she was an editor for the Duke Law Journal, and received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Patricia is based in Washington, D.C.
