Bio

Jonathan Topaz is a Staff Attorney in the ACLU Voting Rights Project. Jonathan has litigated voting rights cases in federal and state courts nationwide, including at the United States Supreme Court, in cases related to redistricting, felon disenfranchisement, the census, and other discriminatory barriers to the vote.

Previously, Jonathan served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Vernon S. Broderick on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He was also previously a Skadden Fellow at the ACLU Voting Rights Project.

Jonathan received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. He holds a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science from Brown University.
