Jacquelyne Germain is a rising junior at Northwestern University studying journalism, legal studies, and marketing communications. She writes for multiple award-winning campus publications, where she has reported on topics ranging from the Billboard music charts to racial disparities in standardized test scores. She previously worked with the ACLU as part of the 2018 Summer Advocacy Institute, where she was able to immerse herself in topics related to grassroots organizing, policy development, and legal advocacy. She's currently a communications intern with the ACLU, where she explores a wide array of issue areas including criminal justice, racial justice, women's rights, and voting rights.
