Bio

Faith Barksdale is the paralegal for the Criminal Law Reform Project (CLRP), where she provides legal support work on all of CLRP’s issues including: pretrial justice reform, reforming police practices, and improving indigent defense systems. She is interested in many aspects of criminal justice and prison reform, and volunteers as a teacher on Rikers Island. Faith was previously a legal assistant with the Voting Rights Project. Prior to joining the ACLU, Faith interned at the Urban Justice Center Mental Health Project and the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. She graduated summa cum laude from New York University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and English.
