Bio

Bridget Lavender is a Skadden Fellow with the ACLU’s State Supreme Court Initiative. Before starting at the ACLU, Bridget clerked on the Utah Supreme Court and in federal district court in North Carolina. Bridget is a 2021 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School (JD) and School of Social Policy and Practice (MS in Social Policy). While in law school she served as an Executive Editor of the Law Review and interned for the Homeless Advocacy Project, the Center for Reproductive Rights, the ACLU of Pennsylvania, the Women’s Law Project, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Her pro-bono work included managing the judicial bypass and clinic escorting projects of Penn’s If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice chapter and serving as the Research Director for the Penn Law Immigrants’ Rights Project.
