Bio

Aditi Shah is a former Borchard Fellow in the ACLU’s National Prison Project, where she litigated cases challenging unlawful immigration detention conditions and pursued strategic litigation and advocacy to increase access to counsel at immigration detention facilities, with a focus on addressing the needs of older adults in detention. Aditi holds a B.A. in History and Health: Science, Society, and Policy from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a student attorney at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and a research assistant to Professor William B. Rubenstein. Following graduation, she clerked for the Hon. Richard C. Wesley of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
